It can happen to anyone at any time. Overnight, a woman’s life can change. And that change can be overwhelming - job loss, spousal loss, addictions, disability, or illness. For others, it's not a change but a way of life that’s been handed down from  previous generations. Once a woman’s life appears hopeless, escape can prove  difficult,  but not impossible. She needs encouragement, nurture, and support. She needs to become self-sufficient to provide for herself and her children. Most importantly she needs to experience God’s love, forgiveness, and grace. Christian Women’s Job “Training” Corps® exists to minister to all women in need with a hand up, not a handout. This is done by providing a vast array of life skills and job skills training, Bible study, and a Christian woman to be her mentor.

Heart of Texas Christian Women's Job “Training” Corps^® in Brownwood is a Ministry of WMU^®, and  has the purpose of providing a Christian context in which women in need are equipped for life and employment; and  a missions context in which women help women.
